Once upon a time, an entrepreneur witnessed a major problem: the recruitment model was broken, and the industry hadn’t fundamentally changed in the last 20 years. A more efficient and fair way to recruit employees was desperately needed. Well, that big idea entrepreneur (Erik Ingvoldstad) got together with his developer pal (Dawid Makowski) to make it happen, along with a talented team of hiring managers, engineers, designers and project managers.

The idea? To create an ecosystem for both job seekers and hiring managers that allows talent and hiring companies to find the perfect match without the hassle and bias of the traditional application processes. But they didn’t just want to make a tool that works; they wanted to make a tool that people will love to use.

Careera was founded on the belief that hiring and getting hired shouldn’t be a pain. And we're only scratching the surface of what we can accomplish together.
